Join us in 2026 for the Red, White and Blue Airshow, in Monroe, LA and Rose City Airfest, in Tyler, TX for an exhilarating and educational experience at our Airshow Workshop. Aimed at beginners, it provides a comprehensive introduction to the unique challenges and techniques of photographing fast-moving aircraft in dynamic environments. Participants will learn about essential camera settings, lens choices, tracking and panning techniques, and how to anticipate aerial maneuvers for the best shots. Set against the backdrop of Louisiana and Texas skies, this hands-on workshop brings you behind the scenes of one of the region’s most exciting aviation events.
What You’ll Experience:
Aircraft Walkarounds & Static Displays
Explore a range of aircraft up close—from vintage warbirds to cutting-edge fighter jets. You'll learn the history, specs, and purpose behind each plane from the crew members who work on them.
Airshow Photography 101
Interested in capturing stunning shots of aircraft in motion? Get tips from professional aviation photographers on camera settings, tracking fast-moving planes, and composing dynamic aerial images. Participate in engaging breakout sessions that cover topics like aviation photography and event photography.
Live Practice Runs
Depending on the schedule, attendees may get to observe exclusive practice runs or prep flights before the main airshow. It’s a rare opportunity to witness precision and coordination in action.

Two Day - $600
Full Weekend - $800
Deposit: $300 for both options.
Package includes tickets to the airshow, daily transportation, full time guiding and instruction. Participates are responsible for their travel to the meeting location.
Booking deposit becomes non-refundable 120 days before the workshop. The remaining balance is due 120 days before the workshop. For cancellation 60-90 days before the trip, a 50% refund will be issued. Refunds are not available for cancellation 59 days or less prior to trip departure.
