Join us for an exhilarating photography workshop set against the backdrop of a thrilling air show. This workshop will guide you through the art of capturing high-speed aerial maneuvers, stunning aircraft formations, and the dynamic atmosphere of an air show. This workshop is designed with the novice in mind.
This workshop is designed to help you master air show photography, making sure you walk away with amazing shots that highlight the speed, skill, and spectacle of the show!
Our Milky Way and star trails workshop is designed with multiple components to cater to different skill levels. We start off with a beginner-focused session on the first night, perfect for photographers with little to no experience in this area. The second and third nights are aimed at intermediate photographers. To accommodate various needs, we offer flexible options: you can reserve the entire weekend, skip the intro class and join us for the intermediate sessions, or simply attend for one night. The choice is yours!
We will be shooting compositions located in the Dark Sky Preserve, which is located in West Texas. Our subjects are located near Alpine, TX. Depending on the season for the Milky Way, we typically use Alpine, TX as a staging point. Alpine, TX is the largest town in the area with accommodations. Please understand that the locations are between 30-60 minute car ride from Alpine.
